within a supportive, positive and stimulating environment that emphasizes healthy body image,

self-awareness and confidence, rigorous discipline and creative self-expression.

Kids Capoeira

An innovative movement arts program that integrates movement, dance, music, language and culture. Children improve their coordination, rhythm, flexibility and strength, as well interpersonal, partnering and leadership skills. Through Capoeira, a Brazilian martial-art dance form, children enjoy a rich cultural and musical experience, as well as being exposed Portuguese language and South American history. By developing a vocabulary of animal shapes and movements, kids gain confidence
and body-awareness while expressing themselves artistically and verbally. Through guided activities, kids also hone musical appreciation and hand-eye coordination,
and expanding their imaginative universe.

Family Capoeira

Learn dance & martial arts with mommy, daddy or grandma. Expand your cultural and creative horizons, while having fun together.
Move, play, sing and count, improving strength, flexibility and coordination and partnering skills. Through interactive games, children and their adults will be introduced to Capoeira movements such as ginga, negative and esquiva, Capoeira songs and music, and enter the colourful, rhythmic world of Brazililan culture.
